Job Description
* Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
* Coordinate with the logistics team to optimise inventory management and stock levels.
* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse environment.
* Monitor and manage the performance of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
* Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
* Address and resolve any operational issues promptly and effectively.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Warehouse Supervisor should have:
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
* Warehouse and operations experience in a stone, steel or glass manufacturing industry
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Familiarity with safety and compliance requirements in a warehouse setting.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
