This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of civil infrastructure projects across the NSW & ACT, working with a well-established contractor that has a strong and secure pipeline of work.
Projects include roads renwenable energy, subdivisions, and bulk earthworks, providing exposure to diverse and technically engaging scopes. Key Responsibilities
Supervise civil construction projects including bulk earthworks, renewable energy, drainage, road construction, subdivisions, and associated works
Work closely with the construction management team, including Project Managers, HSEQ personnel, and Leading Hands, to achieve project outcomes
Ensure safe site operations through preparation of safety documentation, inductions, and adherence to company systems and procedures
Manage site cost control, reporting, and progress in line with budgets and schedules
Oversee environmental management requirements and ensure compliance with company standards
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement
Contribute to business improvement initiatives and system enhancements
Maintain compliance with HSEQ, and company policy requirements
About You
10+ years' experience in civil construction, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
Demonstrated experience delivering bulk earthworks, roadworks, and subdivision projects
Strong leadership and mentoring capability, with the ability to motivate site teams
A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
