YEAR 5 CLASSROOM TEACHER
St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School invites suitable applicants to apply for the role of Year 5 Teacher.
St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School is a single-stream co-educational school, moving to a double-stream catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. The school is situated in a quiet bush setting in the City of Wanneroo, with beautiful gardens and well-maintained facilities. Teaching and integrating our school values of humility, compassion, service and charity into the student’s life and curriculum is a major focus at St Elizabeth’s. The development of strong, positive relationships between all members of our community and a strong academic standard is at the forefront of our work. The school enjoys a strong connection to the St Anthony’s of Padua Parish and the enthusiastic support of an active parent community.
Selection Criteria

2. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated teaching team.
3. Willingness to be a reflective member of a professional learning community.
4. A comprehensive knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the ability to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for a variety of student needs.
5. A positive, enthusiastic and dynamic demeanour.
6. High levels of skills in digital technologies and a commitment to use them as an integral part of the learning environment.
7. Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe learning environment.
8. Understand the importance of developing positive relationships with children, staff and parents and can demonstrate evidence of such actions.
9. Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities.
Qualifications Required
1. Relevant four-year tertiary qualification.
2. Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
3. Current TRBWA and a Working with Children registration.
