The multidisciplinary team is advancing hardware, software, and chemistry to deliver life-saving technology. We're seeking a proactive and solutions-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator with a can-do attitude to drive the sourcing and operational delivery of components and services that underpin our product development.
This role bridges supply chain and vendor management, ensuring that our R&D teams have the materials and processes needed to succeed.
The ideal candidate combines procurement experience with technical understanding of hardware and lab environments, thrives in a fast-paced startup setting, and is motivated to help bring a medical device from concept to market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Procurement & Vendor Management
o Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for hardware, lab consumables, electronics, and specialist services.
o Establish and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
* Facilities Coordination
o Coordinate operational needs across technical teams.
o Support facility (laboratory, workshop) operations, including equipment procurement, calibration, and preventative maintenance.
* Process & Compliance
o Implement procurement processes aligned with medical device quality management systems.
o Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and contracts for audit-readiness.
* Cross-Functional Coordination
o Collaborate closely with engineering and operations to forecast procurement needs.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or facility coordination, preferably in medical devices.
* Understanding of technical components (electronics, lab equipment, consumables, or hardware).
* Excellent negotiation, organisational, and project management skills.
Requirements
* Hands-on, resourceful, and comfortable working in a startup/scale-up environment.
* Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP, or other regulated environments is desirable.
