About the role
The Senior Advisor, Project Support provides administrative, coordination, and project support to facilitate the delivery of workforce initiatives and business operations. The role is primarily responsible for managing applications from teachers for compassionate transfer, coordinating related processes, and preparing correspondence and drafting responses to support decision-making and stakeholder communication.
* Prepare, coordinate and review high-level communications, including submissions for exceptions and formal correspondence, to address issues and respond to enquiries.
* Investigate, analyse and coordinate reports, advice and briefings on complex policy and operational matters to support informed decision-making and planning.
* Manage highly sensitive matters and engage in sensitive conversations with professionalism, discretion and confidence.
The role works as part of the projects and support team as part of School Recruitment Advisory & policy in School Workforce. The role works independently on Compassionate Transfer applications and with the wider team to manage workload across the team.

About you -
As the Senior Advisor Projects and support you will be able to demonstrate
* The ability to support the management and resolution of complex enquiries and issues to ensure the provision of accurate information and the timely and effective resolution of matters.
* Confidently utilise technology applications and systems to deliver efficient and effective services in accordance with Department policies and procedures, including relevant HR systems, TRIM, Microsoft Office and other operational technologies.
* Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively with team members and other teams across School Workforce to support service delivery, strengthen stakeholder engagement and improve operational efficiencies.
* Provide a range of coordination and project support services to meet the operational and business needs of the team/unit, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management throughout project activities.
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
