and we're looking for a Senior Account Executive to help us accelerate that growth.
Who we are looking for
Working at Dataweavers you will be a hands-on member of the team who can combine technical expertise with an internal customer-centric approach to drive innovation and ensure a secure seamless IT operation. You will feel as much a sense of fulfillment from mitigating and reporting IT risk as you will from proactively ensuring a new starter gets the best possible experience with their technology.
You will pride yourself on the deft delivery of a cloud first IT ecosystem that stands up to the scrutiny of some of the world's largest Enterprises and governance risk compliance certifications. You will be able to understand and communicate levels of risk and apply them specifically within the context and size of our business.
You will have the hunger to learn and dive deep into new technologies, along with continuing your certification path across a broad range of services with a focus on cloud and security.
You also have the humility to admit mistakes and emphasize working together as a team to get the right outcome.
About the Job
As a
Senior Account Executive (AE)
, you will be the cornerstone of our APJ go-to-market expansion. This is a
hunter role
, ideal for a driven enterprise salesperson with deep knowledge of the
DXP / CMS ecosystem
and existing relationships across
digital agencies, and enterprise marketing teams
.
You'll own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and qualification through to close - and play a key role in establishing Dataweavers as the trusted partner for modernising Sitecore, Optimizely, and Contentstack platforms on Azure.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a region, influence strategy, and help define how Dataweavers wins through ecosystem-led growth.
This role reports directly to the
Chief Revenue Officer
and works closely with our
global Sales,
Product,
Marketing
, and
Customer Success teams
.
Key Responsibilities:
* Hunt and close
net-new enterprise opportunities across APJ. focused on Sitecore, Optimizely, and Contentstack ecosystems.
* Build strong
relationships with digital agencies
, and DXP partners to drive pipeline and co-selling motions.
* Work closely with the sales, marketing and product teams to develop joint GTM plays and campaigns.
* Manage complex sales cycles involving technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
* Leverage platform demos, value frameworks, and case studies to communicate the business impact of Dataweavers' Platform.
* Contribute to shaping the APJ sales playbook, pricing models, and market-entry strategy.
* Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility through HubSpot. Leveraging other tools like Gong, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and others.
* Represent Dataweavers at key ecosystem events (Sitecore Symposium, Contentstack Innovate, Optimizely Ascend, etc.).
About You
You are a
hunter
with a strong network and a deep understanding of the
composable DXP landscape
. You know how to connect business value with technical capability and thrive in early-stage, high-growth environments.
Proven success building pipeline directly with Brands and through partners
You'll bring:
* 5 to 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience experience selling in consultative, multi-stakeholder Enterprise sales cycles (IT, marketing, and procurement). A strong preference to have experience in SaaS, CMS, or DXP).
* Proven success selling
Sitecore, Optimizely, or Contentstack
(or adjacent MarTech platforms).
* Established relationships with
digital agencies
, consultancies, and marketing technology leaders.
* Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* A
founder's mindset
- comfortable building process, learning fast, and wearing multiple hats.
* Experience with
remote and global teams
, ideally across APAC, NA or APJ.
In Your First 12 Months, you'll:
* Build a qualified pipeline of $2.5M+ ARR through partner and direct channels.
* Establish 5+ active agency or cloud partner relationships generating shared opportunities.
* Land at least six enterprise lighthouse customer wins in collaboration with partners.
* Shape the first APJ. sales strategy and influence our go-to-market evolution.
