We are seeking a professional and proactive Security Officer, to support the safety and security of Airservices facilities. This is a critical role responsible for access control, alarm response, and monitoring operations within a high-security, regulated environment.
You'll be working on a 7-day fortnight roster, providing a great work-life balance while contributing to the protection of nationally significant infrastructure.
Roster Pattern:
* 2 Weeks Day Shifts:0600 – 1800
* 2 Weeks Night Shifts:1800 – 0600
What You'll Be Doing
* Control and monitor access to Airservices facilities in line with government and client requirements
* Verify identification, includingASIC and AIC, and issue visitor passes
* MonitorCCTV and alarms via Gallagher
* Respond to local, state, and national alarms, coordinatingmobile patrols and guardingas required
* Conduct regularfoot patrolsof the facility
* Generate, manage, and deactivate access cards with accurate record keeping
* Escalate incidents appropriately to Site Managers and Security Management
* Maintain detailed daily reports of activities, incidents, and visitors
This role requires strong situational awareness, empathy, and the ability to remain calm and decisive when responding to incidents.
What You'll Need
Mandatory:
* CurrentVIC Security Licence(Control Room Operator & Unarmed Guard)
* CurrentFirst Aid & CPR Certificate
* Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Permanent Resident
* CurrentDriver's Licence
* Baseline clearance(or ability to obtain one)
* ASIC clearance(or ability to obtain one)
