About Us
Little Helpers on the Run is an initiative aimed at teaching children and young adults to become compassionate and community‑minded citizens through acts of kindness. Our volunteers have successfully completed over 6,000 projects in collaboration with schools, nursing homes, and community organisations.
Location and Hours
This is a flexible, part‑time role based in Sydney. Cards will be collected from locations such as Riverstone, Burwood, or Ryde, with the drop‑off point in Riverstone, NSW. The role typically requires 5‑10 hours per week, though hours may vary depending on the volume of cards and project timelines.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail‑oriented photographer to join our extensive card‑making project. This project involves children of all ages, university students, and volunteers creating hand‑made cards. These cards are then animated by graphic designers of varying ages, from university students to older professional designers, who dedicate flexible schedule to bring the cards to life digitally.
Your Responsibilities
- Photograph each piece of artwork in high quality, capturing details in a variety of creative ways.
- Ensure images are ready for graphic designers to animate and work with in digital formats.
- Upload or post photos to our dedicated Telegram groups for designers.
- Help maintain organisation and cataloguing of the large volume of artwork we receive.
Requirements
- Experience in photography, preferably with product or small‑item photography.
- Ability to manage and photograph a high volume of cards efficiently.
- Own camera and equipment suitable for quality photography.
- Reliable transportation to pick up cards from Riverstone, Burwood, or Ryde, and deliver to Riverstone drop‑off.
- Completion of registration paperwork, a valid National Police Check, and a Working with Children Check before starting.
- Willingness to collaborate with our team and follow project guidelines professionally.

Training and guidance will be provided on our processes, expectations, and uploading workflow.
