The role
As Store Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of the Calexico James Street store. That means owning the floor, leading your team, and delivering a customer experience that's genuinely reflective of the brand — not just a transaction.
Responsibilities
* Team leadership, scheduling and performance — building a crew that actually loves coming to work
* Sales performance and KPI delivery — you understand your numbers and know how to move them
* Visual merchandising standards — you have an eye for how a floor should look and feel
* Stock management and loss prevention
* Clienteling and building genuine customer relationships
* Liaising with the wider business on trading updates, product feedback and operational needs
What you'll bring
* Proven retail management experience — ideally from a fashion brand where product and presentation really matter
* A track record of leading and developing a team, not just managing one
* Commercial awareness and confidence with sales reporting
* A natural ability to connect with customers — and the instinct to know when to step in and when to let the team shine
