Available Roles
Supervisor / Leading Hand – Sheet Metal Fabrication
As a Supervisor / Leading Hand, you will:
- Lead and coordinate a team of skilled sheet metal workers.
- Manage daily operations, meeting timelines, ensuring quality, and efficiency.
- Allocate workloads and oversee project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance in cutting, pressing, forming, and welding.
- Mentor and train staff to support skills development.
- Monitor and maintain workshop equipment.
What you’ll need:
- Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Work or Steel Fabrication.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of CNC equipment and contemporary fabrication processes.
- Ability to motivate teams and resolve challenges.
- Australian residency or valid work visa.
Sheet Metal Worker
As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will:
- Carry out fabrication in sheet metal, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Operate CNC Turret Punch, CNC Laser Cutter, CNC Router, CNC Presses, Pan Brake, and Guillotine.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Laser welding.
- Read and interpret drawings and technical diagrams.
- Work safely and contribute to a high-performing team.
What you’ll need:
- Trade qualification in Sheet Metal Work or Steel Fabrication.
- Strong fabrication skills and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Commitment to quality and safety.
- Australian residency or valid work visa.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with CNC machinery and sheet metal fabrication techniques.
- Welding expertise (TIG, MIG, Laser) with various materials.
- Knowledge of material properties and handling practices.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and/or Forklift License.
- Possession of a valid High Risk/Forklift License.
