The Role
Ace Hotel Sydney is seeking a commercially driven
Account Director (Temporary)
to cover the current role holder during
maternity leave
.
This position leads
Group, Meetings & Events (MICE)
and key
corporate account sales
, driving revenue through proactive business development, strategic account management, and strong client relationships. You'll partner closely with Revenue and Operations teams to maximize conversion and deliver exceptional guest and client experiences.

What You'll Do
* Execute strategic sales plans to achieve Group & MICE revenue targets
* Identify and secure new business through proactive sales activity and networking
* Manage and grow key corporate and agency accounts
* Maintain a strong pipeline and drive high conversion
* Lead compelling site inspections and client presentations
* Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing and demand strategies
* Ensure accurate activity and production reporting in Delphi CRM
* Represent Ace Hotel Sydney at industry and client events
What You Bring
* Proven success in Group, MICE, or corporate hotel sales
* Strong business development and relationship management skills
* Commercial mindset with a track record of achieving targets
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
* Highly organized with strong follow-through
* Experience with Opera Cloud, Delphi CRM, or similar systems preferred
* Alignment with Ace's brand, culture, and guest experience philosophy
