**About the Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and operationally savvy professional to join the ICC Sydney Security team who is passionate about Security in the role of Security Control Room Officer in a full-time capacity.
As a Control Room Officer, you will be a pivotal player in the ICC Sydney Security team, responsible for the monitoring CCTV, managing access control and effective coordination of response to incidents and building requirements. Managing multiple moving parts and a vast array of stakeholders, you will handle interactions in a composed and diplomatic way, with respect, providing advice and solutions to suit the situation while maintaining vigilance over ICC Sydney assets.
The role would suit a Security professional looking for that next step in Security Operations. You will enjoy a work pace, and focus, that changes from shift to shift. You are naturally a composed and pragmatic person, which will provide a solid grounding to be successful in this role. As a natural communicator and a logical thinker, you will be able to put process and procedure into operational action and tangible results.
There is opportunity for growth and development in a number of roles within the Security department including specialist roles and leadership. The role is 24-7 and works on a rotating roster over 7-days.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- 2-4 years' experience in security including exposure to control room
- NSW Security Licence 1A
- First Aid Certificate
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate

You are required to submit a one-page covering letter, including a short statement in response to the following targeted questions;
- As a coordinator of incidence response, composure is a requirement in any situation. Discuss what skills and abilities are required to maintain composure when involved in coordinating a response.
- Incident reporting is an essential part of the security responsibilities. Discuss why reporting is important referencing what good quality reporting is.
