Position Summary & Primary Objectives
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Strategy & Consulting, the Consultant is responsible for working with the Strategy & Consulting team to support our customers to solve their current and most challenging cyber security problems, protect their future and empower them to thrive in an uncertain world.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Conduct research and synthesize information to assist the Strategy & Consulting team
* Develop cyber security strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to protect our clients and their customers
* Support development and delivery of end-to-end Strategy & Consulting engagements
* Distil research into briefs and presentations for the Strategy & Consulting team to utilize internally and externally
* Advise clients on cyber security investment and monitoring performance for boards and senior leadership, and assist in preparing clients for critical cyber security incidents
* Build cyber security awareness among client leadership teams
* Produce high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Business Administration (preferred but not essential)
* 1+ years' experience in technology or risk consulting, ideally with experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company
* Cyber security experience is highly regarded
* Good personal presence and ability to effectively engage with senior client stakeholders
* Strategic mindset and understanding of how engagements fit into a broader business context
* Knowledge of one or more cyber security areas such as risk assessment, cyber security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO/IEC27001), vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, security research (highly desirable but not essential)
