Position
The Clinical & Service Governance Credentialing Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Credentialing and Compliance Officer on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist expertise and guidance in developing, implementing and maintaining governance controls, solutions, auditing, monitoring and reporting to support the Health Service in ensuring credentialing processes are compliant with Queensland Health policy, directives, standards and legislation.
* Support the Executive Director Medical Services to coordinate the Credentialing activities of the health service at the highest level and provide comprehensive and accurate advice to the Health Service Chief Executive and the Executive Leadership Team regarding scope of clinical practice for Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Professionals.
* Manage credentialing emergent issues, including Ministerial or Health Service investigations or legal information requests pertaining to Credentialing.
