The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to provide high‑level financial leadership, oversight, and operational support across the to the Director of Corporate Services, this pivotal role has responsibility for payroll, financial operations, compliance, reporting, and mentoring finance team members. This position suits a technically strong finance professional who also brings empathy, integrity, and a collaborative leadership style.
Key Responsibilities Financial Operations & Compliance
1. End‑to‑end responsibility for payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation, awards, and organisational policies
2. Timely resolution of payroll‑related enquiries
3. Preparation and lodgement of statutory obligations including superannuation, BAS, PAYG and FBT
4. Management of accounts receivable, including debt recovery and reconciliation of aged debtors
5. Sound application of accruals, depreciation journals, accounts payable, and general ledger functions
6. Completion of monthly, interim and year‑end financial processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
7. Preparation of financial acquittals and management reports
8. Coordination of interim and end‑of‑year audits, acting as a key
