Position: Surgical and Endoscopy Nurses
The Short Stay Suite, part of the Perioperative Precinct, includes Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA), Holding Bay, Same Day Discharge (SDD), a 19-bed Surgical Ward, and a standalone Endoscopy Suite. It is a fast-paced, high-turnover unit offering diverse learning opportunities across various nursing care skills.
You will contribute to improving health outcomes by providing safe, quality, and clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients, their families, and other health professionals.
We are seeking both surgical and endoscopy nurses to cover maternity leave, with potential for permanent positions upon contract completion.
You will need
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Advanced assessment, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Previous experience in Surgical or Endoscopy Nursing

Details of appointment
Multiple fixed-term, full-time or part-time shift positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP for up to 12 months. Hours are negotiable.
The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for 12 months from the publication date.
Salary
$78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata), with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution. Salary in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to Grade 4 salary range ($99,455 - $105,995) is subject to successful application for progression.
Additional allowances, such as Post Graduate Allowance up to 10%, may be available based on qualifications.
