Job Overview
Our organisation is seeking a skilled professional to supervise the agitator fleet, contractor management and driver behaviour in Brisbane. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving safety, operational and compliance objectives aligned with our values and strategic plan.
This role involves managing 16 concrete plants on the North side of Brisbane.
Main Responsibilities
* Focusing on truck availability and productivity improvements
* Engaging with drivers to ensure safe operation, while monitoring fatigue and compliance with our policies
* Providing visible leadership on health and safety matters
* Ensuring operational expectations are met through proactive response to identified areas of improvement
* Liaising with stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery and high quality products
* Developing strategies for productive operating systems
* Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers
Requirements
* Current Full C Class Driver's License
* Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
* Cost control, business improvement WHS and logistics relations including maintenance and heavy industry
* Transport and logistics experience
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and follow-up on multiple concurrent tasks
