QLS has a full-time opportunity for an Education Designer to join our Education team. The Education team contributes at both a strategic and operational level to support QLS in building member engagement through the provision of educational programs and opportunities that benefit an ethical, skilled, and future-ready legal profession in Queensland.
As the Educational Designer, you will design and develop self-paced online modules, blended learning programs and digital resources that meet the evolving needs of Queensland legal practitioners, while building team capability in educational design principles and practices.
In this role you will:
* Design blended learning solutions integrating digital, online and in-person education.
* Lead the development of engaging self-paced online learning modules and digital resources for the QLS Shop.
* Provide expert educational design support for certification pathways and micro-credential projects.
* Conduct research and consultation to identify emerging education needs and trends.
* Build staff capability in digital learning tools and pedagogical practices.
Ideally you will have the following:
* Tertiary qualifications in education, learning design, law or related field (required).
* Expertise in designing online modules, digital resources and blended learning programs.
* Experience with Learning Management Systems and digital learning technologies.
* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to apply research and data insights to improve educational programs.
