* Full time 35 hours per week
* Temporary up to two years
* All of NSW
* Willing to consider candidates across all NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based on the coast with a focus on Sydney, Wollongbar, Port Macquarie, Ourimbah and Coffs Harbour
* Clerk Grade 9/10 – Salary from $ 129,464.00 to $ 142,665.00 per annum (FTE) plus super and leave loading


About the Role
This role leads performance monitoring and improvement processes for contractors delivering the Shark Management Program. It develops strong governance, risk management, and reporting tools while ensuring compliance and transparent financial management to meet government expectations. The position manages procurement, contracts, and service agreements to deliver projects on time, within scope, budget and quality requirements. It also supports or leads recruitment activities and works closely with contractors and managers to drive continuous performance improvement. Additionally, the role prepares and maintains project documentation, collating information for planning, reporting, monitoring and evaluation to support successful project outcomes.



About You
You are a proactive and organised professional with strong experience in governance, contract management and performance improvement. You excel at building effective monitoring and reporting frameworks that support transparent financial management and ensure programs meet government expectations. Your ability to manage procurements, contracts and service agreements ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and to high quality standards. You work collaboratively with contractors and leadership teams to drive continuous improvement and are confident leading or supporting recruitment processes. With strong analytical and documentation skills, you bring a detail‑focused approach to planning, reporting and evaluation, contributing to successful project outcomes and a high‑performing Shark Management Program.

* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience
* Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes
