A03 Admin Support Officer - Cairns (North Qld) (BBBH244264) Cairns, AustraliaSalary: AUD49.4 - AUD49.4 per hour + SuperAbout the role:Anticipated hours: 9 am - 5 pm Monday to FridayCairns City Location (office-based position)Anticipated Start Date: 12th MayAnticipated duration: Temporary contract for 5 weeks from start date$49.40 per hour + SuperEasy-to-fill timesheet and on-time weekly paymentKey responsibilities:As a Court Services Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support, ensuring efficient administrative processes related to the operations of the business unit.
This includes delivering quality services to the public, judicial officers, and other clients, both internal and external.You will assist senior staff with their duties and undertake complex or onerous tasks associated with daily processing in the registry or court.
The role also involves modeling professional and ethical behavior and committing to personal development.Duties will include:Providing administrative support for efficient operations of the business unitEnsuring compliance with administrative systems and processes related to court and registry operations, including receipting of moneyPreparing, processing, and managing correspondence, court documents, asset management, and other administrative, financial, and HR documents in accordance with legislation and departmental policiesDeveloping and maintaining professional relationships and communicating confidentially with stakeholdersUsing, updating, and monitoring databases, files, and document management systems (eDOCS) to ensure data accuracyManaging document destruction, digitalising and scanning files, and creating data entry reportsPerforming other duties as directed by the registrar or coordinatorWe seek experienced administrators and team players with high professionalism, good data entry skills, and strong computer skills (MS Office, computer systems, multi-function devices, telephones).Experience and knowledge in MS Excel are required.Candidates must obtain a Police check to be considered for this role.Willingness to be on their feet for long hours and ability to lift and move document boxes are also required.
