Speech Pathologist Position
We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team on a temporary basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to deliver high-quality clinical services to consumers in the Mackay area.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Speech Pathology clinical services to consumers, including outreach to regional areas.
They will work as part of a trans-disciplinary team, delivering clinical services to consumers in the Mackay Health Service's area, covering a range of clinical conditions and complexity.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management to children and adults needing help with communication and/or swallowing.
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
* Maintain accurate records of patient progress and outcomes.

Our Speech Pathology Service delivers care to patients throughout our hospital departments, as well as in outpatient, community, and rural settings.
