As a specialist in occupational rehabilitation, you will play a key role in driving successful return-to-work outcomes for our clients.
About the Role
* You will be responsible for managing client cases with supported caseloads, leveraging the expertise of rehabilitation assistants to optimize outcomes.
* You will apply your clinical expertise to enhance return-to-work results through evidence-based practices and interventions.
* You will design and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
* You will collaborate closely with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health specialists to deliver comprehensive care and support.
* You will conduct assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments to inform treatment plans and optimize client outcomes.
* You will also facilitate the virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery, to empower clients with practical skills and knowledge for improved well-being.
About You
* To excel in this position, you will require a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply.
* Prior experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded, but not essential.
* You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as empathy and compassion, to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
* Strong time management and organizational skills are essential for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* A current valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance are also required for occasional travel.
