You will work in a dynamic environment, supporting an aircraft platform that defends Australia's interests. This role involves warehousing, distribution, receipt, dispatch, and inventory management activities. Knowledge of material management, maintenance warehousing, freight booking, operation of plant and manual handling equipment, and proficiency in inventory systems are required.This role is located onsite at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will:Assist with managing inventory for accountability and traceabilityManage Goods inwardsHandle hazardous chemical managementManage Shelf LifeProcess transactions in Inventory Management System (Oracle) and MILISMaintain P-8A Poseidon Depot Maintenance Support and Ground Support Equipment inventoryEnsure PPE and tooling are available and serviceableAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you should have:Cert III in warehousing operations (highly desirable), with funded on-the-job support availableExperience with MILIS, ERP (Oracle), and SAP (desirable)High Risk Forklift Licence (desirable), with training availableDesire to grow knowledge in supply support rolesInterest in computerised inventory management systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications (preferable)Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.What's on offer?BDA offers expertise, processes, and tools to support aircraft design, repair, and airworthiness.
