Mental Health Professional Role
We are seeking a dedicated mental health professional to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan.
* The role involves providing specialist assessment and consumer lead treatment services to clients of various mental health services, including child and adolescent, adult community, inpatient, and extended treatment services.
* The successful applicant will promote community awareness of mental health and develop relationships with other mental health service providers.
Key Responsibilities
* To undertake the delivery of quality recovery-focused services to clients based on best practice principles and within a recovery framework.
* To provide a specialist assessment and consumer-led treatment service to clients and their families or carers.
Requirements
* A minimum of two years post-graduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service area.
* Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of mental health in relation to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service area.
Benefits
* A competitive salary range of $110,425 to $119,290 per annum.
* Access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
Eligibility
* Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
* Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable as determined by individual position requirements).
* Current Driver's Licence.
