IT Support and Systems Administration Role
This role is designed to provide first- and second-level technical support for all staff across hardware, software, network, and access issues. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving queries from internal users for business application support.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, switches, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and experience supporting Microsoft 365, Teams, and Exchange environments. They will also have excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
As a systems administrator, you will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, network infrastructure, and cloud systems. You will perform regular system updates, patch management, and scheduled maintenance, as well as set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices, printers, mobile devices, and other office tech.
The IT team works closely with the development team for business application support and the global Asmodee IT team for infrastructure and systems expertise. This role has a varied but manageable workload, with realistic expectations and the support of a collaborative team for escalations or complex issues.
This role offers hands-on exposure to both AWS and Azure environments, primarily focused on managing cloud storage for backups and assisting with patching virtual machines. It's a great opportunity to build foundational cloud skills in a real-world environment while being supported by an experienced IT Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first- and second-level technical support for all staff across hardware, software, network, and access issues
* Triage queries from internal users for business application support
* Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, network infrastructure, and cloud systems
* Perform regular system updates, patch management, and scheduled maintenance
* Set up, configure, and maintain end-user devices, printers, mobile devices, and other office tech
* Configure, maintain, and support IT equipment in our distribution centre, including printers, Zebra mobile devices and Wi-Fi networks
Requirements:
* Proven experience in IT support or systems administration role
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
* Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, routing, VLANs, VPNs)
* Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Teams, and Exchange environments
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
