What you'll be doing
• Handling inbound customer calls and providing clear, accurate information
• Navigating multiple systems while recording customer details
• Completing email follow-ups and case notes
• Working within a structured, supportive contact centre environment

What we're looking for
• 2–3 years customer service experience (call centre, admin, retail or office-based)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident using multiple computer systems
• Comfortable with Outlook, Teams, email etiquette and multi-screen environments
• Previous government experience is a bonus, not essential
Details you need to know
• Full-time, 35 hours per week
• Rotating roster between 7am–7pm, Monday to Friday (shift blocks change every 4 weeks)
• Initial training is fully onsite at the Newcastle Contact Centre
• After training, candidates may work from Newcastle or Maitland Contact Centre depending on location
• Police check required
• Mandatory in-person assessment centre (60–90 minutes) as part of the selection process
