Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager and working among a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties;
o End to end payroll processing spilt among the team for 2,000+ employees, using SAP
o Interpretation of all relevant awards and entitlements
o Calculations of payroll tax, superannuation and work cover
o Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
o Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
o Other tasks as requested by the Payroll Manager
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer role as well as the following attributes:
o Demonstrate a willingness and ability to collaborate with and within a team environment
o Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
o Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for detail
o Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task
o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
o Prior experience using SAP is highly advantageous
