Behavioral Challenges Include:
* Absconding & Property Damage
* Physical & Verbal Aggression
* Threats, Intimidation & Suicidal Ideation
* Sexually Inappropriate Behavior (verbal and physical)
* Sexually Explicit Dialogue, Fire Setting, Animal Cruelty
* Homicidal Ideations, Severe Attachment Disorder
* Antisocial, Destructive, and Trauma-Based Behavior
* Drug Usage
Medical & Psychological Diagnoses:
* ASD – Autism Spectrum Disorder
* FASD – Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder
* RAD – Reactive Attachment Disorder
* Trauma-Related Behavioral Disorder
About you:
* Experienced in providing person-centred support to clients with complex conditions such as autism, intellectual disability, and epilepsy
* Calm and assertive in high-stress environments
* Experienced in de-escalating aggressive and sexualized behaviors
* Able to mentor youth with attachment issues and trauma
* Committed to clear boundaries, respectful communication, and safety
* Physically fit and mentally resilient
Requirements:
* Minimum nationally accredited completion of Certificate III in relevant Disability or Community Service field
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check
* A valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
* Willingness to obtain a new National Police Check
