The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Environmental Services team in Echuca (3564). In this hands‐on role, you'll oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate and ensure your team has everything they need to work safely and efficiently. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly across multiple sites, solving problems on the go, and driving a strong safety culture. What you'll be responsible for
* Communicating accurate and timely updates to all stakeholders
* Travelling across 12 sites weekly for supervision
* Building strong client relationships and working collaboratively to achieve shared goals
* Ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
* Reviewing route performance to identify and drive improvements
* Championing a safety-first and continuous improvement culture
* Conduct daily debriefs, team meetings, and toolbox sessions
* Manage rosters, timesheets, and labour allocation
* Problem‐solving immediate operational concerns with a solutions‐focused approach
* Ensure all staff comply with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, and relevant legislation
* Developing and promoting a safety-first and continuous improvement culture
What you'll need to be successful
* Minimum 2 years' experience leading a team
* Valid driver's licence
* Background in waste management (desirable)
* Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on data
* A genuine commitment to safety and a positive, can‐do attitude
