We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Biology teacher to cover long service leave from July 2026 until September 2026. This is a part-time role - 0.36 FTE. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching two IB Diploma Programme classes.
About You
You will have:
* Proven Experience with IB (DP)
* Relevant Science qualifications are essential
* A record of innovative teaching practice
* An ability to inspire mixed culture and ability classes, by creating challenging and engaging learning opportunities for all students
* A strong desire and proven ability to contribute positively and work in teams in and out of the classroom
* An outstanding record in building relationships and community with students, parents, and staff
* Experience in delivering concept-based curriculum through inquiry learning
* A passion for and commitment to inclusive multicultural education
* A desire to make the world a better and more peaceful place
