Overview
Enterprise Sales Manager role at Vertiv – NSW Enterprise Sales team leader responsible for managing the full sales cycle, selling, mentoring and coaching sales engineers, and driving growth in the NSW region by increasing Vertiv's market penetration in new and existing accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Drive revenue generation through direct sales and team leadership, focusing on Enterprise and C&I in NSW.
* Drive sales activity to exceed business objectives, growth and profitability targets for assigned accounts.
* Provide forecasts and action plans (annual/quarterly/monthly) to achieve orders and sales targets.
* Understand customer business strategies and industry trends to articulate the value of Vertiv's solutions.
* Develop and maintain Account and Territory Plans; ensure forecast and pipeline alignment with the annual budget.
* Empower and develop sales teams; recruit, mentor and guide future leaders.
* Implement sales strategy to maximise potential in the NSW market segment.
* Build and sustain meaningful, long-term relationships with customers; identify new growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and deliver a seamless customer experience.
* Work with management to drive growth and market expansion; address weaknesses and drive improved processes.
* Devise customer-centric strategies and guide multi-channel interactions; drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain.
* Motivate, mentor, lead and develop the sales team.
* Collaborate with the channel and ensure best-in-class efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
REQUIREMENTS
* 10+ years' experience in sales; 5+ years' experience managing a team.
* Relationship-building experience with strong commercial acumen.
* Electrical and/or Thermal background; technical qualifications in mechanical and/or electrical engineering preferred but not essential.
* Comprehensive product and market knowledge; understanding of sales concepts and techniques.
* Proven track record of building and developing driven sales teams, exceeding targets and delivering sustained growth.
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field, or trade qualification in electrical or mechanical field; 10+ years of relevant IT-related experience is desirable.
* Customer-centric mentality with an ambitious hunter sales approach.
* Strong people management and relationship-building skills; excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
