As a seasoned professional, you will be ready to hit the ground running in this 2-year contract. The Job Present live and continuous news in a dynamic, constantly changing environment Produce content to a high editorial standard and technical quality using ABC software and studios with strong proficiency. Help drive editorial meetings and decisions about program rundowns Support production of stories/programs as required including making calls, setting up interviews, conducting research, and editing relevant material. Provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues to ensure skills are developed and content meets the highest editorial standards. Position Description: 30002388 Journalist About You As a highly experienced journalist, you will demonstrate well-honed editorial judgement and experience uncovering and telling original stories. You'll Have Outstanding editorial skills and experience working to tight deadlines and under pressure. Highly advanced presenting and live interviewing skills and the ability to be nimble on-air as news breaks. Demonstrated high-level ability to create/produce news and current affairs content. Demonstrated ability to drive the editorial agenda and push stories forward. Exceptional understanding of cross platform content production and emerging technologies. Strong technical proficiency in ABC systems and ability to operate a radio studio/panel live to air.
