We're looking for an IT & Security Manager to lead our technology environment and strengthen our cybersecurity capability.
The Opportunity
This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for the strategy, governance and performance of our IT and security environment. You'll own our infrastructure, systems and cybersecurity posture, ensuring they are secure, reliable and fit for growth. You'll focus on setting direction, lifting maturity and ensuring our technology environment supports the business now and into the future.
We welcome candidates who can work hybrid from one of our office locations in either Robina (Gold Coast, Australia) or Queenstown (New Zealand).
What You'll Do
* Lead IT & Security Strategy
o Report to the Head of Technology and provide risk and performance insights to senior leaders
o Define and deliver IT and cybersecurity strategy
o Advise senior leaders on technology, risk and investment decisions
o Establish governance, policies and standards
o Represent the business with auditors, insurers and regulators
* Own Infrastructure, Systems & Cybersecurity
o Oversee performance, security and scalability of core systems
o Lead architecture, lifecycle planning and continuous improvement
o Drive security frameworks, controls and incident response
o Maintain and test business continuity and disaster recovery
o Oversee access, vulnerability and patch management
o Embed a strong security culture across the business
* Govern Service Delivery & Delivery Outcomes
o Set direction and standards for IT service delivery across ANZ
o Ensure effective incident, problem and change management
o Monitor performance across internal teams and vendors
o Lead major system implementations and technology initiatives
o Partner with the business to deliver meaningful improvements
o Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
* Manage Vendors & Build Capability
o Own vendor relationships, performance and contracts
o Ensure service and security expectations are met
o Optimise licensing and technology spend
o Lead and develop the IT function, including resource planning
o Build capability across infrastructure and cybersecurity

About You
You're a pragmatic IT leader who can balance strategy with hands‐on delivery. You know how to lift environments, manage risk and influence across the business.
You bring:
* Strong experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity leadership.
* A qualification in IT, computer science, business or a related field.
* Proven ability to improve technology maturity and governance.
* Solid understanding of risk, compliance and incident response.
* Experience managing vendors and delivering technology initiatives.
* The ability to translate technical detail into business impact.
* Comfortable operating in external forums (auditors, regulators, insurers).
* Proven track record of building and structuring a function, not just managing within one.
* Experience leading a team to deliver outcomes across Microsoft 365 in a "cloud‐first" environment.
* A solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID features, and functions, particularly in security, administration, and endpoint protection. We work extensively across cloud, PaaS and SaaS models.
