On behalf of our valued client Botanical Resources Australia (BRA), we are currently seeking applications for a Casual Administration Assistant to support their Human Resources Department for an 8-week period leading up to Christmas.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Human Resources Coordinator, this full-time casual position is based at BRA's purpose-built facility in Ulverstone. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations through a range of administrative tasks.
Strong initiative, attention to detail, and effective coordination skills will be key to your success. You will also display outstanding communication skills and have the ability to work within a close-knit team. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic and motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking to gain exposure in the daily operations of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with employee recruitment and onboarding processes, including the coordination of employment requests and recruitment activities, issuing employment contracts and position descriptions, arranging inductions and organising training
* Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team, including collecting, maintaining and processing employee and human resources records
* Conversion of HR hardcopy HR documents to electronic means, and document filling and archiving
* Assist in transitioning HR documentation to maintain ongoing ISO compliance
Ideal Candidate:
* 2-4 years' experience in an administration environment
* Intermediate computer software skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Forward thinking and proven ability to use initiative
* Able to manage information in a confidential manner
