Job Description
Casual relief operator tasked with maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across community areas, operating mechanical street sweepers, garbage compactor, high‐pressure cleaning unit, and collecting illegal dumps.
Responsibilities
* Cleansing the public domain: maintain cleanliness and hygiene in community areas.
* Operating Mechanical Street Sweepers and Garbage Rear Loading Compactors: keep streets spotless with advanced equipment.
* Using a High-Pressure Cleaning Unit: pressure clean pavements to ensure they are pristine and safe.
* Illegal Dump Collections: keep the city free from unsightly and hazardous waste.
* Public Amenities Cleaning: ensure public facilities are clean and well‐maintained.
Qualifications
* Current MR NSW Driver's License: required to operate vehicles and equipment.
* White Card: essential for safe work on construction sites and public domains.
* Experience with Mechanical Street Sweepers & Garbage Compactors: previous hands‐on operation is crucial.
* Versatility and Adaptability: support various team functions and adapt to changing operational needs.
* Knowledge of Small and Heavy Plant Operations: necessary for effective task performance.
Benefits
* Casual positions available early morning – 2.30 am to 11.30 am.
* Attractive hourly rate of $42.93 (includes 25% casual loading) plus superannuation.
* Shift penalties and allowances may apply depending on shift and function.
Other Requirements
Pre‐Employment Medical Check required, including a drug and alcohol test.
Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident, or have unlimited working rights in Australia.
