Engine Technician Position
We are seeking a skilled Engine Technician to undertake complex vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks. As an Engineer Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing engine faults and performing scheduled servicing maintenance on vehicles.
Key responsibilities include:
* Inspecting motor engines and their components
* Diagnosing potential issues in engines and their parts
* Replacing worn and damaged parts, consulting technical manuals as required
* Using advanced equipment including computer software to test the function of engines and their components
* Performing routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups
* Identifying and repairing faults with electrical systems in vehicles, such as lights, ignition systems, and more
Qualification and Experience
* Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanical or Diploma of Automotive Technology qualification
* Experience - Minimum 1-2 years
