About Age Right
We are a multi-disciplinary service catering to the unique needs of the elderly. Our referrals come from the Geriatricians at Age Right, GPs, direct access from private clients, and some Home Care Package providers. Work is varied between providing high caliber assessment and recommendations for well-ageing or impairment specific strategies, providing short-term or ongoing support for addressing issues in clinic, with individual or group-based programs, as well as home and community visits where appropriate.
Our small physiotherapy-led groups offer evidence-based strength, balance and cognitive exercise and are used both as discrete treatment options, or as an ongoing supportive strategy for keeping fit, active and engaging in community support and connection.
Our clients and referrers appreciate a high level of knowledge and skill from our team, and we ensure time and resources are available to enable our team to provide this. The ability to build relationships and form a positive and respectful therapeutic alliance with clients and their families is important, as is the ability to provide clear concise feedback, verbally and in written reports.
