An exciting time has been underway with EB offering significant growth and employment opportunities at their Westbury Tasmania Site. Due to increased global sales and contracts, EB will be moving to a 7 Day & Night Operation from January 2026. Over 30 permanent newly created positions to date have been recruited with staggered starts from July 2025 and into 2026 across multiple departments.

Role Overview:
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacture of high‑quality, controlled alkaloid raw material - key duties below:
* Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials safely and efficiently.
* Following manufacturing procedures in line with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
* Recording accurate daily production data and ensuring goods are stored correctly.
* Operating plant machinery and supporting production goals.
* Operating forklifts and or front‑end loaders if licenced/ticketed.
* Assist in other areas if trained (Waste Water Treatment Plant, Crop reception, Boiler etc).
What We Require
First and foremost, you need to align to the EB values - People Matter, Transformation Matters and Outcomes Matter. Beyond this, we are searching for proactive, safety‑conscious individuals with a passion for teamwork and quality production.
You will require:
* Good literacy and numeracy.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality control standards.
* Microsoft Office and database and general computing skills.
* Strong focus on safety procedures and manual handling techniques.
* Physical fitness and the ability to work in a hands‑on environment.
* Willingness to work a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule (days and nights across a 7 day roster).
* Ability to pass a full pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
* Ability to obtain a police clearance to meet the licensing agreement for the site (We can assist with the paperwork).
* Full Australian working rights.
* A positive attitude and a strong commitment to learn
It would be great if you do have the below, but don't be discouraged from applying if you do not
* Front‑end loader experience
* Experience in industrial, chemical, or primary manufacturing environments (preferred).
* Waste Water Treatment experience highly regarded
* Boiler experience also highly regarded
