Job Title: Simulator Technician
As a highly skilled and experienced professional, you will be responsible for performing technical maintenance and support activities on a wide range of products.
Your duties will include ensuring mission readiness, performing periodic and rectification maintenance, troubleshooting technical problems, installing and verifying modifications and security updates, guiding instructors with the operation of training devices, maintaining awareness of current issues involving F-35 pilot training devices, and assisting the Training Operations Support Manager as required.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (electronics, electrical, mechanical engineering, IT systems administration) from a recognised institution. Applicants must also be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
