About the Role
The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist leads and manages UOW College's digital presence with a strong focus on student recruitment.
The role is responsible for planning and delivering digital marketing campaigns, overseeing website content and improvements, managing social media channels, and ensuring consistent application of UOW Global Enterprises and UOW College visual identity and brand voice.
Working closely with the UOWC Marketing Manager and internal stakeholders, the Specialist coordinates SEO/SEM activities, analytics and tracking, digital content production, and user-experience enhancements.
Success in this role relies on effectively managing multiple projects, balancing competing priorities, and ensuring all online content is accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Campaign Management – Plan and optimise campaigns to support student recruitment.
Website & Course Finder Management – Maintain accurate, user-friendly content.
Social Media Management – Develop and manage engaging content.
Analytics & Reporting – Track performance and recommend improvements.
Branding Compliance – Ensure all digital content reflects UOWGE/UOWCA brand guidelines.
Stakeholder Coordination – Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential Skills and Experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and understanding of key marketing communications principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and desire to work collaboratively across all marketing functions in UOWC.
Advanced knowledge and experience in marketing automation software and key marketing technology principles including: SEO and SEM, content management systems, Google Analytics, and managing social networking platforms such as Facebook and YouTube for marketing purposes.
Essential Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in marketing, digital media, graphic design, communications, information technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
