THE LOCATION
The lifestyle in Perth is unsurpassed, the amenities for children and families are numerous, and Perth is officially ranked highly amongst the world's most liveable cities. Perth is Western Australia's capital city and the major gateway into the state. Fronting the widest stretch of the meandering Swan River, city and river make a stunning contrast, especially when the skies and river are a perfect Perth blue. The Swan hosts a range of water sports, including sailing, water skiing, sail boarding, and jet boating, fishing, parasailing, and cruising. And there are more than fifty kilometres of riverside pathways for walking and cycling.
Perth is fast becoming a hot destination for foodies. The cafe and restaurant scene is thriving with new pop‐ups and niche cafés which specialise in some of Australia's most 'insta‐worthy' dishes. The smallest and quirkiest of coffee shops are springing up all over Perth, as well as new high‐end restaurants offering degustation menus.
Perth is easy‐going with a number of inner‐city parks adding to the relaxed, nature‐based feel. And getting around is simple – there's a free public transport service within the city centre.
