This key role is responsible for the planning and execution of maintenance and repair activities on major rotating equipment, with a focus on optimising performance during both planned campaigns & shutdowns and unplanned outages.As the primary implementation liaison between INPEX and Baker Hughes, you will lead efficiency initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the highest standards of safety and technical compliance.Key Responsibilities:Drive initiatives to optimise tooling, labour, and material usage across maintenance activities.Plan and execute maintenance and repair work on onshore rotating equipment.Develop detailed scopes of work and maintenance procedures.Collaborate with the planning team to ensure timely resourcing for inspection and maintenance tasks.Coordinate with specialist vendors and supplemental workforce providers to ensure smooth execution.Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal technical standards.Provide expert technical guidance on major rotating equipment, including Frame 6 & 7 and Steam Turbine Generators.What we're looking for:A degree or Diploma in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
Candidates with a strong trade background and extensive hands-on experience will also be considered.Extensive experience in hydrocarbon facilities, with a focus on maintenance, project delivery, and shutdown execution.Deep technical knowledge of rotating equipment and auxiliary systems in the oil & gas sector.Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, and operational information systems.Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and negotiations.Solid understanding of workshop practices, inspection protocols, and predictive maintenance methodologies.This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Perth.Closing date for applications is 2nd May 2025.
