The Business Development Manager – Embedded Energy, based in North Sydney, drives the growth of Altogether's retail energy business by expanding existing Embedded Energy Network clients and securing new opportunities. The role plays a critical part in delivering Altogether's growth strategy through strong relationship management, solution-based selling, and a deep understanding of customer needs.
This role is focused on acquiring embedded energy business across body corporate and strata communities.

Core responsibilities
* Grow an existing portfolio of Embedded Energy Network clients
* Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities
* Utilise delivered leads, outbound activity, and professional networks
* Build trusted relationships with body corporates and decision-makers
* Present and propose tailored energy solutions
* Develop working knowledge of embedded energy infrastructure and emerging technologies
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders on proposals and delivery
* Represent Altogether at industry and networking events
What will you bring to the role?
* A proven track record of high performance in sales.
* Demonstrated success in new business generation and building strong relationships.
* Firsthand experience in the embedded network industry with exposure to developers, body corporates and associated agencies would be advantageous but not essential.
* High level presentation skills with the ability to engage clients on your solution and gain commitment
* A passion for understanding and selling complex solutions that match your clients' needs
* The skills to attend industry and networking events to build awareness of your brand and grow your network.
* The ability to inspire, influence and a learning mindset.
* Electricity and gas industry knowledge desirable
