About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to join our Pension and Investment Claims team.
* This role will support members and beneficiaries during critical moments—providing accurate, efficient, and compassionate claims management services that enhance clients' superannuation and investment experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end claims process, including claims pack preparation, requirement follow-up, and referral to the Benefit Review Team.
* Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication to members, beneficiaries, and representatives.
* Deliver tailored support for vulnerable members with empathy and care.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues and support team members across all aspects of claims administration.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies and sharing insights.
* Maintain subject matter expertise in claims, insurance, and superannuation products, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
* Participate in a rotating roster to monitor the insurance phone line during early and late shifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in superannuation, with a strong understanding of related legislation.
* Understanding of superannuation withdrawals, account types, nominations, and advice levels.
* Familiarity with compliance and reporting requirements (e.g. ATO, fraud prevention, trust deeds).
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
* A keen eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
* Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
