Part-time Medical Secretary required for a boutique Surgical Clinic located at Subiaco, with some travel expected to the Murdoch clinic. This is a part-time role working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, however ability to cover leave when required is expected.
The Role
Our clients are warm and welcoming Colorectal Surgeons who are committed to providing holistic medical care for their patients. The practice is situated in the convenient and vibrant location of Subiaco boasting modern rooms with superior facilities
Responsibilities include
* Welcoming patients to the practice
* Efficiently managing clinics, patient bookings and treatment lists
* Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice
* Coordinating all bookings and managing appointments including theatre
* Processing invoices, bills and payments using EFTPOS and Medicare & insurance claims
* Providing end-to-end administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
* Reception and other support duties where required
* Flexibility to provide leave cover and other days if necessary
* Ability to work 1.5 days per month at the Murdoch clinic
About you
* Demonstrated previous experience as a Medical Receptionist/Secretary (at least 2+ years)
* Gentu experience preferred
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and professionally, whilst also being supportive within a team environment
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills both in-person and on the phone with a demonstrated empathetic nature
* High attention to detail and level of accuracy ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
* Up to date COVID-19 vaccination & Police Clearance
