We're partnering with a growing business in Melbourne's south‐east looking for an experienced Onsite IT Support Administrator to join the team on an initial 4‐week contract based in Dandenong.
This is a fully onsite, hands‐on Level 2 support role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with users, troubleshooting technical issues, and keeping day‐to‐day IT operations running smoothly.
You'll provide onsite technical support across hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft environments while acting as a key escalation point within IT Operations.
Responsibilities
* Providing Level 2 support across end‐user devices, hardware, and software
* Managing and resolving support tickets, escalations, and follow‐through
* Supporting Microsoft 365 technologies including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Active Directory
* Troubleshooting LAN, Wi‐Fi and VPN connectivity issues
* Supporting laptops, iPhones, iPads, and office networking equipment
* Performing system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
* Assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes
* Maintaining IT asset registers and device lifecycle management
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in IT Support/Infrastructure roles
* Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments
* Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365 and Exchange
* Exposure to VMware or Hyper‐V environments
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to support
* Ability to work independently in a fast‐paced onsite environment
This role is fully onsite in Dandenong, Monday to Friday. Short notice periods are highly regarded.
