Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Rockingham, WA, for an Intermediate Accountant. The successful candidate will handle financial reporting, taxation preparation, and compliance activities for clients. Duties include preparing year end financial accounts, preparing tax returns, performing reconciliations, and collaborating with the team to meet client needs. Building strong relationships with clients and providing insightful financial advice to support their financial goals will be key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
* Strong accounting knowledge, including tax preparation, financial reporting, and compliance
* Proficiency in reconciliation processes and relevant accounting software
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
* Effective written and verbal communication skills to foster clear client relationships
* Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team environment
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
* Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred), also can be working towards completion
* Experience in working with small-to-medium-sized businesses is an advantage
