This autonomous role is a proactive and technically-minded sales professional position that involves managing existing client relationships, identifying and converting new opportunities within a designated territory.
The ideal candidate will be backed by product training and continuous support from an Australian GM with a highly skilled technical team at HQ in Germany, as well as part of a small dedicated local team who value integrity, expertise, and results.
Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for clients within assigned customer groups, channels, and territories, ensuring satisfaction and retention through accurate CRM records.
Manage sales activities, deepen client relationships, understand needs, and deliver technical solution-based advice to drive business growth.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market analysis, competitor research, and regular communication with customers.
Develop local product expertise through ongoing training and education.

Requirements:
 * Proven sales experience in a solution-based technical environment
 * Strong technical aptitude, with excellent understanding and communication skills for product diagrams, applications, and engineering drawings
 * Self-starter with a strategic research-driven approach, track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs and sales targets
 * Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, competent in CRM systems and MS Office applications
 * Strong organisational and time-management abilities, current driver's licence and ability to work from home with a provided laptop and phone
