The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced
ProcessTechnician
to join our Ammonia/Ammonium Nitrate team inKwinana. This hands-on role is crucial to the day-to-day operationof the plant, involving equipment operation, troubleshooting, andcontinuous improvement in a safety-focused environment.You'll be supported with training and developmentopportunities and play an integral role in meeting productiontargets and ensuring safe plant performance.
Key responsibilities will include
Operate and monitor plant processes to meet productiontargets.
Conduct plant startups, shutdowns, andtroubleshooting.
Perform first-line maintenance and raise work orders.
Collect and process samples; report deviations in plantperformance.
Respond to emergency situations in line with safetyprotocols.
Maintain accurate records and daily log entries.
Participate in safety meetings, HAZOPs, and trainingprograms
About you
We're looking for someone who brings:
A Certificate IV in Process Technologies (or is workingtowards it).
Experience with DCS systems and plant operations.
Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
The ability to work independently and adapt to changingpriorities.
You'll also be flexible with shift work and eager to learnnew skills and processes.
