The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking applications for an Office Manager to join their friendly team in Hobart. This ongoing, part‐time (0.8fte) position offers flexibility with the days and hours open to negotiation and one day per week from home, subject to operational requirements!

Some out of hours contact may be required to manage urgent building issues.

Remuneration

The annual salary range for the position is APS6 – $99,734 to $111,701 p.a. (pro‐rata), plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.

About the opportunity

The Office Manager is a unique and varied role with responsibility for coordinating accommodation management tasks, delivering operational protective security risk management and service delivery, and ensuring that each office location adheres to Tribunal policies and procedures to support operational and strategic outcomes. You will also balance facilities, stakeholder engagement and some basic operational finance tasks.

Working closely with a small, collegial national Office Manager cohort you will have day‐to‐day responsibility for the Hobart office. The team culture is practical, supportive and collaborative, with a strong focus on trust, accountability and getting things done.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, professionalism and integrity with the ability to thrive in a busy, challenging environment.

About you

* In-depth knowledge of property, facility, risk, and asset management best practices, as informed by government legislation and guidelines.
* The ability to take a leadership role in the event of service disruptions or emergency situations, drawing on sound judgement and problem‐solving skills to address issues or escalat as appropriate.
* Ability to deliver relevant training, set up and coordinate special events, and ability to support diverse requests in relation to facilities, WHS, and risk management policies and procedures.
* Well‐developed managerial and organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, coordinate meetings, and conduct inquiries and research with the aim to best manage workforce adherence to all policies and procedures.
* High level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the capacity to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, able to influence positive workplace outcomes, and ability to maintain a productive relationship with stakeholders.
* The ability to work under pressure, project manage office layout and fit out changes, juggle competing interests and priorities, and exercise sound judgement and tact.
* Ability to analyse data, maintain accurate records including conducting stocktakes of assets, and provide effective and informed responses to information requests.
* Demonstrated experience in basic financial administration, including reviewing, validating and preparing financial documentation or invoices, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.

Eligibility

* Australian Citizenship
* Required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment
* Security Clearance – Have or be eligible to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance (support will be provided to obtain NV2 if required)
